General notes about installation

1)

The fluorescent lamps must be fitted with standard electromagnetic ballasts (not electronic).
 

2)

The Halogen lamps must be equipped with good quality magnetic transformers. Electronic transformers cannot be used.
 

3)

A circuit must be fitted with lamps of the same type, and if possible, with the same power.
 

4)

The cabinets containing the controllers must be fitted with adequate forced ventilation controlled by a thermostat set to 25 °C. The heat quantity produced by controllers is equivalent to 1,5% of installed power. As a general rule the air flow for each installed Amp must be equivalent to 1 m3/h. The ventilator must be fitted so that the inlet is at the bottom of the cabinet and outlet at the top.

Radio interference
Any appliance sold conforms to the latest EMC standards and is CE marked. You are advised to position the audio cables (shielded with one end connected to earth) at a distance of at least 30-50 cm from power cables.Where you have audio transmissions with very low voltage, it is necessary to insert cables into iron pipes to protect the signal from any possible magnetic fields.
 

6)

Line switches must never be installed at controller output. This is to prevent controllers remaining live when lamps are not working.
 

7)

All equipment must be installed as per the drawings supplied.
 

8) 

The output load of each controller must not exceed the load stated on the rating plate on the controller. Never exceed the maximum current carrying capacity indicated on the regulator.
 

9) 

The controller input voltage must respect CE standards.
 

10) 

The controllers must be fitted with the cooling fins in vertical position and be sufficiently spaced so there is a free space of at least of 200 mm in the top of the cabinet.
 

11) 

The ventilator filters must be cleaned periodically. Time intervals will vary according to how dusty the air is.
